Even in warehouses with high intensity of operations, in most working corridors, operators stay on forklifts not longer than 6-10 min/h. Therefore, it is an economically justified solution to separate zones where luminous intensity is set in stand-by mode to minimum (usually 10% of nominal power). Fittings illuminate with full power when a sensor detects motion of a forklift or a warehouser.
Areas requiring lighting with higher intensity – picking zones, main transport routes or loading zones are illuminated with industrial fittings with higher luminous intensity – PROMETHEUS PT2-240-S4. For lighting of narrow working corridors between high storage racks, fittings PT2-185-S3 with custom lenses will be sufficient.
