Workstation lighting

Lighting for workstations in production plants should be uniform and free of flicker. The correctly selected color temperature of the light sources is also of great importance.

Workstation lighting that is too cool often has a negative effect on employees, who complain of headaches, while lighting a workstation with overly warm light is perceived as unfavorable to concentration.

For workstation lighting, we recommend PROMETHEUS industrial LED luminaires PT2-060-S1 with a 4000 K color temperature. Single-bar PT2-060-S1 luminaires have the power supply located above the profile with LED modules, so they can easily be connected in rows with minimal spacing between luminaires. This arrangement provides lighting with very evenly distributed intensity, which is required in production processes.

The requirements for industrial lighting fixtures installed in quality control departments are particularly high. The light must be uniform, with a color tone that supports long-term, precise work, and it must reproduce colors faithfully. Flicker effects and differences in light color caused, for example, by combining fluorescent lamps with different color temperatures in one luminaire are unacceptable. For special applications, LED diodes with color temperatures other than the standard ones (5000 K, 6500 K) and an increased color rendering index Ra>90 are used.
