WORKSTATION LIGHTING

Lighting of a work station in production plants should be even with no flickering effects. Very important is the correct colour temperature of light sources.

Too cold work station lighting often affects the workers who complain for headaches and lighting with too warm light is viewed as disturbing to concentration.

For work station lighting we offer PROMETHEUS PT2-060-S1 fittings with a colour temperature of 4,000K. One-beam fittings such as PT2-060-S1 have a power supply unit placed above the profile with LED modules, so that they can be easily laid in series with minimum spacings between the fittings. Such a layout produces lighting with a very evenly distributed intensity which is required for production processes.

Requirements made for lighting fittings installed in the quality control departments are especially high. The light must be even with a colour conducive to long-term fine work and accurately reflect the colours. Flickering effects and differences in colour resulting from, among others, joining luminous tubes with different colour temperatures within a single fitting) are unacceptable. For special applications, LEDs with other than standard colour temperatures (5,000K, 6,500K) and higher colour refraction index Ra>90 are used.
