METIS UV – FLOW DISINFECTION LAMPS

UV-C radiation disinfection lamps are a solution for business owners, hotels, restaurants, and people managing public utility facilities such as office buildings, schools, and public offices.

In a situation of tightened sanitary requirements related to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, it is especially important to maintain all precautionary measures and carry out regular and effective room disinfection.

Germicidal lamps using UV-C radiation effectively disinfect air and surfaces and have long been used in hospitals and treatment rooms. Today, they are increasingly being introduced into offices, hotels, and other public facilities.

Two basic types of lamps are used: direct-action and flow-through.

METIS UV MS2-220 LAMP VERSION FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

For large production and warehouse areas, it is necessary to use a special design of disinfection lamps. The METIS UV MS2-220 lamp is equipped with as many as four Philips UV-C emitters, each rated at 55 W, and a high-performance, quiet industrial fan. This makes it possible to effectively disinfect volumes of 60–90 m³ while remaining safe for people working near the lamp.

TWO LAMP VERSIONS FOR USER CONVENIENCE

– direct-action germicidal lamps – may be used only when no people or animals are present in the room being disinfected. Recommended exposure time – min. 2 h.

– flow germicidal lamps – effectively disinfect air and surfaces in the presence of people. User safety is ensured by the complete enclosure of the UV-C emitters in the chamber, and disinfection takes place by purifying the air in forced airflow through the UV-C chamber.

Because ultraviolet radiation in the UV-C range is harmful to health and may cause skin burns and eye damage, using flow lamps is definitely safer for users. People can stay and work near a UV-C lamp operating in continuous mode without using specialized eye and skin protection equipment.

METIS UV lamps use Philips UV emitters and, thanks to their design, are highly efficient and completely safe.

Studies conducted, among others, by specialists from Seoul Semiconductors confirm the effectiveness of disinfection using UVC radiation at a level of 99.9% in the case of viruses from the coronavirus group.

* Permanent installation: for wall mounting or ceiling suspension, mains-powered, switched on with a wall switch or optionally with a remote control (offices, restaurants, kitchens, classrooms – for continuous disinfection)

* In the MS2-220 version, four Philips 55 W UV-C emitters and an efficient, quiet industrial fan ensure effective disinfection of production and warehouse areas.

For hotels and companies that own office buildings or manage this type of commercial space, an offer for the long-term rental of CLEAN UV GO disinfection lamps has been prepared. The monthly rental fee is determined individually each time depending on the selected type of device, additional equipment (stands, remote controls), and the scope of use. Optionally, it may include the costs of full service support for the installed devices (periodic inspections, replacement of UV-C emitters and filters).
